About Debora
Welcome to Debora Macy Tutoring Services! Established as an educational service dedicated to providing high-quality tutoring services to students of all ages and backgrounds. As a highly qualified teacher and tutor, Debora strive's to help students achieve their academic goals and unlock their full potential.
Debora has been teaching since 2008 and has a M.S. and credentials in Elementary classroom education, a M.A. and credentials in Special Education, and a secondary English Language arts credential for middle and high school.
Because of Debora's concern for students who struggle with reading, she has completed 30 hours of Orton Gillingham training through the Institute for Multi Sensory Education that is specialized for teaching students with dyslexia.
Dyslexia information resources are available for families at the International Dyslexia Association website, which Debora Is a member of as well as the Northern California branch of IDA.
"My mission is to provide one-on-one reading, writing, and math help for students with learning differences, including those with dyslexia and ADHD."
